- Title: UN_FOLDING
- Description: The action is proposed as a displacement of some key processes I use to develop at my artist studio to Candyland space. Some of the relevant elements in my artwork have been selected in order to transform them as site specific installation using the gallery walls: Simple spatial and linear elements on the white walls i.e. black tape, charcoal and spray paint will distort the angle perception.
The result will be the basis for the screening of a series of images I have previously edited at my studio, establishing an ephemeral dialogue with the physical elements.
Finally I will take a series of photographs for which I will use black confetti. The aim is to get at least one original photographic work out of the action: the image will be partially edited together with audience after this process. The digital file will be sent to the Spanish Embassy, Espacio Islandia and Candyland so that it could be used as documentation.
Below two images of similar installations at Siboney Gallery, ArteSantander Fair 2012.
- Use of 20 crowns: Will be used to buy the black confetti.
- Relation with audience: Relation with audience will be set in two sections: First of one hour duration will be private, without audience. The second hour will be opened to audience who will witness the finishing of the installation and will be able to participate on the final image editing process.
- Recording: Documenting will be made externally and by myself as part of the action. The images I will take will be likely able to be used as documentation.
