Proposal (text sent by the artist)*:
“My Thoughts: Self perceive, the way I think in mind and thoughts.
Achieve the freedom of self-awareness.
Build a space shaped like pyramid, made by books ,CDs ,guitar, painting brushes, skateboard , baseball bat, football, just things can show my spiritual belief. Put a ‘brain’ on the top of the pyramid, representative thoughts. The whole pyramid means something that we really need to think about whether to own in our life.
After the process above, my classmates will lock me in a cage on the corner (right across the pyramid.) And set fence, iron gauze, outside the cage. Surround me with those things above. And put headphones, money, and crown into the cage. It means people are surrounded by an unhealthy information and environment.
In the rest times I will stay in the cage, performance to be shocked and scared. Audiences will interrupt me all the time, my time and energy will be taken by them.
I want to express a situation that most people are brainwashed, it’s a tragedy of life.
I want to make people to thinking about the way we exist, and the thinking about life and living.
Materials: cage, iron gauze, fence, brain(can be bought on the market) ,a tall table or pillar, books, CDs, guitar, painting brushes, skateboard, baseball bat, basketball ,football, headphones, money (may be not only these things).”
